Research Assistant
Fortesa Asani is a Research Assistant at Democracy Lab. She received her undergraduate degree in Contemporary Sciences and Technologies: Business Informatics from the South East European University. Recently she completed the Community Solutions Program 2019 fellowship, which is a professional leadership development program for the best and brightest community leaders worldwide, sponsored by the U.S Department of State and supported in its implementation by IREX. During her fellowship she did research at The GovLab, organization based at New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering, also receiving a certificate from George Mason University for continuing education units on the Community Leadership Institute. With support from USAID and British Embassy in 2015 she co-founded the center for tutoring and teaching Phi School. Also coordinated actions part of the project “Active citizens for good governance” implemented by Center for Strategic Research and Documentation – Forum and Center for Education and Development (CED).
